Mold and Product Design

Our designers understand plastics. We provide the design and detail expertise you need when you need it. If you have no design group, or need to off-load extra design work, let us help. Our rates start at $80 per hour and the average mold design costs approximately $3,200, with complete details. We can find a way to mold your part! Material Selection

Our Material Selection Service utilizes a variety of data bases, coupled with decades of experience, to provide over 40,000 material choices that will meet your stated requirements. We will suggest the material(s) that will best fit your particular needs.
The selection service has a base fee of $300, which is standard for most selection exercises. Special, or unusual requirements may increase that fee to $600, or more. Procurement Services

Whether you're looking to buy a single machine, an injection mold, or the equipment to fill an entire facility (or even the facility itself), Texas Plastic Technologies can assist you in finding just the right item, or group of items, to satisfy your requirements. We specialize in locating the perfect match when it comes to finding a vendor, selecting equipment or tooling, or designing a facility from scratch.

Inventor's Assistance

No need to have a patent yet. We provide CDA protection while we are working on your project. Our services include product design assistance, material selection, determining proper manufacturing process, vendor selection, mold design, troubleshooting, and more.

Each project must be quoted on an individual basis, but experience shows that a "normal" project involves between 2 and 24 hours, with our hourly rates starting as low as $85 and averaging $125.
